Katie is a sweet and gentle 10-year-old girl with the unfortunate circumstance of having two older obnoxious brothers who tease and taunt her. Katie finds comfort and confidence when her talent for ice-skating is developed but even that is threatened when her family falls upon hard times.

Zoë Warner
Blizzard marks the first lead role for Zoe Warner who previously appeared in the features, Shopping, directed by Henry Jaglom, God at 7, directed by Daniel Pollack, and Tunnel Vision. On television Zoe was in the series pilot for Real Story, directed by Robi Michael and was also in The X-Files video game as well as making guest appearances as Charolette on S Club 7 in Hollywood, Jenny in State of Grace and Erica on the Emmy-nominated series, Profiler. A quintessential California girl, Zoe spends her spare time playing baseball, basketball, rollerblading and cycling.
